Going to Independence Hall

About once a month some of the elementary students go to Independence Hall Senior Living Center to read books to the people living there.  Last month I brought and read a book called The Word Collector.  After I read the book, I had a nice conversation with the lady I read to.  We talked about family a lot.

If you also know how to play the piano, they really like it if you play a song or two. 

Since we cannot quite walk there, we have two parent volunteers drive us there. 

There are two groups of elementary students.  One group goes one month and the other group goes the next month.  I like reading and was happy to read to the people at Independence Hall.
