Reading Buddies

At Little Flower we get to have reading buddies.  Elementary students read to primary children and that is very fun for all of us.  When we first met our primary buddies they were very shy.  Hopefully they will start to feel more comfortable soon. 

The first graders have one reading buddy each.  Second, third and fourth graders all have two buddies, one in each primary classroom.  The primary kids appreciate elementary students reading to them.

My reading buddy loves stuffed animals so I will try to find books about stuffed animals to read to her.  This is my first year having a reading buddy.  I feel happy about having two reading buddies and I enjoy reading to them.
